With over 3 million followers on Twitter, every message that Rory McIlroy sends from his account is scrutinised and in the public eye, but his latest cryptic tweet was deleted very promptly.

Like other Irish golfers, McIlroy didn’t play at the Rio Olympics after citing concerns over his health due to the Zika virus.
Pat Hickey, President of the Olympic Council of Ireland (OCI), who was arrested in Rio this morning, once said on The Seán O’Rourke Show that there was “no money in a gold medal” and that this influenced McIlroy’s decision.
Hmmm.
