EA Sports today announced Rory McIlroy as the cover athlete and namesake of its golf franchise, officially making him the face of EA SPORTS Rory McIlroy PGA TOUR.
For years now this has been the exclusive domain of Tiger Woods, but he’s more likely to be found in the likes of GTA these days with his shenanigans, so the obvious next person in line was the World Number 1.
EA SPORTS Rory McIlroy PGA TOUR is the first EA SPORTS title to be built using the Frostbite engine and will be available from June this year.
We can’t wait.
