Reports had been circulating the pair were in talks with the club…
English Premiership side Sale Sharks have released a statement distancing themselves from rumours regarding the signing of Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding.
The pair had been heavily linked with a move to the English side in the past 24 hours, with reports emerging that Jackson had indeed signed a contract with the club, and talks were ongoing with Stuart Olding.
However, Sale have now denied the reports.
In a statement released by the club on Wednesday evening, they said:
“Sale Sharks can confirm there is no substance to the rumours currently circulating in relation to the signing of the two international rugby players Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding. Our search continues for top class players to bolster the squad for next season.”
Jackson was previously linked with a move to Top 14 side Clermont Auvergne, however the club also released a statement distancing themselves from the former Ulster player.
