Sean O’Brien has signed a new contract with the IRFU and Leinster, ending speculation that he could be set to follow Jonny Sexton to France.
The IRFU tweeted the story on Thursday morning:

O’Brien had been heavily linked with a move to Toulon, with the news that he’s staying coming as a major boost to Leinster fans.
The future of Jamie Heaslip will now come even more into the spotlight, with Toulon and Montpellier both said to be keen on bringing the Number 8 to Top 14 rugby next season.
