Snooker and football on one table? Of course it’s called snookball (not fooker)

We reckon this could really take off…

We all love going down to the local to shoot a few games of pool with our mates or watch some Monday night football, and of course we drink diluted orange the whole time…

But what if we were to tell you that you could combine the two and create a revolutionary new game, would you be interested? Of course you would…

We recently saw Jimmy Fallon playing a similar game with Hugh Jackman, although that was bowling and snooker, and so we liked to call it ‘boo-ker’ or ‘snowling’ (we know, it’s ingenious).

The video below explains it better than we ever could so we won’t even try. All we can say is finally our amazing 5-a-side skills are going to come in handy; kicking the ball off the sides of the pitch is how we get by most of our opponents.

It must be said that technically it is a mixture of football and pool but we don’t really like ‘footpool’ as a name and ‘poolball’ is just plain confusing.

One major problem we can see happening is the ‘borrowing’ of some of the footballs for an outdoor game and the subsequent disappearance of said ball…
