Start planning your day because Saturday has an outstanding day of sport on TV

You won’t be leaving the pub.

There’s a plethora of new titles in the cinema and on Netflix, but Hollywood’s finest scriptwriters could dream up the feast of sport that’s on offer this Saturday.

Here’s a small look at what’s on offer.

GOLF – Sky Sports Golf, 6.30am-6.30pm
Ryder Cup (Foursomes & Fourballs)

It’s Ryder Cup time and as always, Day Two could be absolutely pivotal as Europe aim to reclaim their crown against an outstanding American team.

(12.30)  West Ham Utd v Manchester Utd

While Pogba vs Mourinho seems to be a more interesting match up, United really can’t afford to lose to drop anymore points and a trip to the Olympic Stadium is bound to be tricky. The home fans will be in buoyant mood after the last few results eased the pressure following their poor start.

(3.00) PL: Huddersfield v Spurs

Guaranteed goals with Spurs. Still though, there are better things on throughout the day.

RUGBY Sky Sports action from 3.30pm
Championship
(16.05) South Africa v Australia

Their last meeting was a great test match that the Wallabies edged by five points.

The provincial games are back as the Pro14 and European Cup champions travel to Galway.

The biggest game of the Premier League season so far.

(17:00) Juventus v Napoli

There’s the Cristiano Ronaldo factor as two of Italy’s biggest sides meet. it might be hard to find a pub with the game on, but it’s worth noting that it is taking place.

(5.30) Bundesliga: Bayer Leverkusen v Borussia Dortmund

Goals, goals goals.

(7.35) Pro14: Munster v Ulster

Joey Carberry has settled in well to life in the red jersey and with big games on the horizon, both sides could do with a momentum-building win.

SOCCER – Primera Division -Betfair Live Video Eleven Sports 1
(19:45) Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid

It might be harder to find on TV – thank you very much for those new TV rights – but two of Europe’s biggest teams meeting is always a match worth watching. Here’s hoping that most places will have this.

How else to end this sporting day than by watching the best rugby team in the world?

Aside from this, you’ve got the Russian Grand Prix, Roma vs Lazio, and George Groves v Callum Smith on Saturday too.

After all that sport, you’ll be itching to bring on Sunday!
