Forget the All-Stars, these are the awards that GAA players really want to win.
The Maurice Fitz award for the score with the most outrageous curl of the week
This week, the honour goes to Derry's Eoin Bradley, who showed once again yesterday that on his day, he's up there with the best forwards in Gaelic Football today.
The art of looping around the outside of a teammate to pick off a score is something that Colm McFadden, amongst others, has perfected in recent years and this was a textbook example of it.
A quality score from a quality player.
The 'business at the back and sides, party up front' championship haircut of the week award
If young kids wanted an example of a textbook Championship haircut to aspire to, then Laois' Tom Shiel provided it during the clash with Kildare on Saturday.

It was as if Shiel had arrived in Tullamore directly from the barbers and as Ciaran McDonald and Conor Mortimer will testify, blonde hair will always help turn a few extra heads in the GAA.
The GAA shtyle statement of the week
Step forward the Fermanagh hurler spotted wearing glasses under his helmet during the Erne County's victory over Sligo in the Lory Meagher Cup final at Croke Park. https://twitter.com/unofficialgaa/status/607662969716129792 There's a handy excuse to explain misdemeanours to a ref if we ever saw one. "I didn't see him ref. No seriously."
The 'did he get that from the soccer?' showboat of the week
Donie Kingston pulled three solo dummies in quick succession before winning a free against Kildare but the award this week has to go to Galway's Jason Flynn for a truly tremendous flick over his head to set up an Aidan Harte score against Dublin.
Galway are well capable of this type of thing when their gander is up and it's well and truly up right now. Their rivals have been duly warned.
Sign that the GAA is getting soft award
If red cards are consistently given for the type of offence that got Down's Conaill McGovern sent off yesterday, then they're going to be thrown out like confetti for the rest of the Championship.

Eddie Kinsella consulted with his fellow officials before issuing the card, but to call it harsh would be an understatement.
Only in the GAA moment of the week
It could only the fly that might have been expecting plains as lush as the Serengeti during rainy season when it landed on Anthony Daly's head during the Sunday Game.
Instead, it found a landscape as barren as the Sahara desert during a heatwave (Sorry Anthony).

Seriously though, the reaction of the two lads and Des Cahill was priceless.
JOE's Guaranteed Irish Sports' Star of the Week Award, a tribute to the tradition of incredibly long names for award titles in the GAA
Maurice Shanahan got Man of the Match in Waterford's Munster semi-final victory over Cork, but Austin Gleeson gets our vote.

19 years old and he bestrode Semple Stadium like a colossus. The kid is going places alright.
