There are usually three stages of any GAA fixture.
1) The pre-match buildup that involves all players showing up to training and preparing for the game as professionally as possible – we all have stories about players that refuse to do this though because they’re usually being dragged out of bed 20 minutes before kick-off, 2) the match itself where anything can happen and, 3) the post-match analysis and chat that’s done in training or via a private WhatsApp discussion.
As you may know, those private discussions can see some fairly racy language being used but this typo gives a whole new meaning to ‘keepers restarting the game.
Johanna Maher informs us that one of her friends was discussing some goalkeeping techniques with a fellow net-minder and it seems that she had a little bit of trouble with her kickouts during the game.
