Another great has hung up his hurley…

Tipperary forward Eoin Kelly has announced his retirement from inter-county hurling on this evening’s RTE News at the age of 32.

The Mullinahone ace has been plagued by injuries over the past few seasons and has had a limited involvement in the Premier County’s quest for Liam McCarthy over the last two years.

Kelly is the latest of a series of high profile hurlers to step away with Tommy Walsh, Brian Hogan and Aidan Fogarty among those who have announced their retirement from inter-county hurling.

JOE is getting increasingly upset as some of the greatest hurlers of the last decade are leaving us.

WHY GOD? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO US?
