It’s the big sporting issue of the day.

The bottom line is that TV3 have won the broadcast rights for The Six Nations from 2018 onwards as Irish rugby fans will have a new station to watch the northern hemisphere’s elite international rugby competition.

Twitter was divided on the issue with a lot of people expressing the opinion that RTÉ’s panel are more interesting, informative and entertaining.

George Hook has been an integral member of the punditry team at RTÉ and he didn’t hold back when it came to expressing his opinion on this change in Irish sports broadcasting.
