Conor McGregor's announcement that he has retired from the UFC has had everyone talking and while his coach John Kavanagh supported this claim, nothing official has been released from the UFC, until now.
The UFC have released a brief statement confirming that McGregor won't be taking part at UFC 200.
The featherweight champion was due to face Nate Diaz in a rematch following his defeat to the American at UFC 196 but this won't be taking place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on July 9th.
Dana White revealed that the decision was made by the UFC after McGregor informed officials that he would not participate in any promotional activities, including a commercial shoot or engage in any press conferences.
The UFC is currently working on a new main event for the card.
