It’s been a helluva year.
This year, as is always the case, was quite a year when it came to the AIB Club Championships.
Club football and hurling continue to be the lifeblood of the GAA and while county stars like Diarmuid Connolly and Joe Canning shone in different coloured jerseys than we’re accustomed to seeing them in, it was also a stage for local heroes to emerge.
Connolly’s virtuoso performance against Castlebar on St. Patrick’s Day and the embrace between Joe Canning and brother Ollie after Portumna’s success are just two of many highlights in the video below and we can’t wait to see what awaits in the conclusion of this season’s championships and beyond.
