Video: A stunning spinning reverse scorpion kick, and save, from Mexico/New Zealand

It was a brilliant bit of improvisation by Raul Jiminez, and a stunning save by Kiwi keeper Glen Moss.

It was a brilliant bit of improvisation by Raul Jiminez, and a stunning save by Kiwi keeper Glen Moss.

In the end, Mexico cruised past New Zealand 5-1 to virtually book their spot at next year’s World Cup but the highlight of the game wasn’t a goal at all.

With the score at 1-0 to Mexico a cross came in a little behind Raul Jiminez and the striker showed incredible quick thinking to twist his body and direct a more-than-decent effort at goal with his heel.

Arguably Moss’s brilliant save is even better, as he tipped it around the post.
