Reigning All-Ireland Champions St. Vincent’s were made to fight to the last whistle when retaining their Dublin SFC crown last night, winning out by a single point after a late comeback by St. Oliver Plunketts Eoghan Ruadh.

The massive crowd at Parnell Park were treated to a cracking contest under lights last night and while Plunkett’s were able to prevent this clash from becoming the Diarmuid Connolly show like previous Championship games involving Vincent’s, they just about came up short despite giving the victors a late fright when Alan Brogan fisted to the net late on.

Once again, the official Dublin GAA YouTube channel did a great job of capturing the main moments and the reaction afterwards and though they’ve a long way to go yet, Tommy Conroy’s side are going to take a bit of stopping in their pursuit of second Leinster and All-Ireland club titles on the trot.
