With only four days to go, excitement is building ahead of the FAI Ford Cup Final and we caught up with a few of Sligo Rovers’ main men to check out how preparations are going for the Bit O’Red.
Ian Baraclough’s men are 2/7 favourites to do the business and claim the FAI Ford Cup title for the third time in four years, although no doubt Baraclough is hoping that they can do it the easy way this time round after penalty shoot-outs decided their last two triumphs.
JOE ventured down to Sligo earlier in the week and managed to catch up with Anthony Elding, Danny North and Gavin Peers to find out how preparations for the big game are going, what the buzz is like in the west and how much they’re looking forward to playing in the Aviva Stadium on one of the biggest days in the domestic football calendar.
