As anyone who’s ever been a best man knows too well, your number one job is not making sure the groom arrives at the church on time or ensuring that everything goes smoothly on the day, it is to make sure that you embarrass the groom as much as possible during the Best Man speech.
A Newcastle fan (we assume he’s a Newcastle fan considering he was wearing a Newcastle kit while making the speech) ensured utter embarrassment for his Arsenal-supporting brother recently with a prank involving Arsene Wenger (sort of) that is up there with the best we’ve seen in a long time.
In the middle of the wedding speech, the best man claims to have secured a special phone call with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger because of his relationship with former Gunners ‘keeper Bob Wilson, a call that he allows everyone to hear over the speakers in the room.
The video is actually just over a year old but was spotted by the eagle-eyed folks at 101 Great Goals this morning, which should help ensure it gets the exposure it deserves and because we don’t want to give too much away, we’ll let you watch it for yourself below.
