The Olympic spirit is alive and well…
After the Canadian women’s hockey team remarkably came from 2-0 down to beat their biggest rivals, the USA, 3-2 in the Winter Olympics final in Sochi, a team of Canadian radio commentators found it quite hard to keep their overjoyed feelings to themselves.
As Canada’s Golden Girls dramatically snatched the overtime victory, sports reporters Tim and Sid of Sportsnet Canada reacted in the only way they knew how – they completely lost their sh*t to the super soundtrack of Joe Esposito’s ‘You’re The Best.’
“WHAT!? WHAT!? Knock knock, who’s there!? Gold medal in the face!”
At least the loser won’t have to deal with a certain Mr Bieber. And, while we’re on the subject of completely unbiased sports commentary…
