Not a bad way to mark your debut…

Racing Metro got their Top 14 season off to a winning start last weekend with a 19-16 victory over Montpellier. Johnny Sexton kicked a 79th minute penalty to clinch the win but his teammate Johan Goosen, who was making his first appearance for the side, undoubtedly got the score of the game.

Montpellier restarted the game, Sexton caught the ball and passed it to Goosen who was just inside his own half. The South African out-half quickly composed himself and let fly from all of 53-metres out.

The ball seemed to be in the air for an eternity but it just cleared the crossbar, check it out here…
