From athletes playing international rules, to those of us who are junior or intermediate fools: sporting statistical data is now available for everyone.
Playertek is bringing statistical analysis to the masses with their new range of great gear which is not only easy to use, but affordable too.
To demonstrate how it works, we sent our own Joe Harrington to Dublin’s Liffey Gaels.
The results are somewhere between hilarious and brilliant.
Playertek have done a great job of making the data accessible to the every-man GAA player and manager.
Their gear shows what distance a player has covered, how many sprints they did in a game, the energy they burned, their top speed, how effective in the final five minutes as they were in the first five and a host of other data.
We can’t wait to give it a go in our upcoming Junior C game. Thankfully it doesn’t reveal how many breakfast rolls we’ve had in the lead up to a game.
