The gloves really come off for this one…
During Saturday’s 2nd annual Mayor’s Cup, which featured two rival New York colleges, a massive brawl broke out and it involved pretty much everyone on the team… even the coaches.
The fight broke out right at the end of the match as the unranked Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) claimed a 2-1 win over the #3 seeded team, Rensselaer Union.
Both teams made sure to apologise in their respective post-match interviews, but the damage was already done as two players from both Union and RPI ended up receiving one game suspensions each.
