VIDEO: Comedy sketch shows the reactions of GAA heads when soccer is played on a GAA pitch

Alan Loughnane

We all know a few auld fellas in a club like this…

There’s an unspoken rule in GAA clubs around the country, that the sacred ground of the GAA pitch shall only be for hurling and football only.

No five-a-side soccer or World Cup knock-out is allowed on a GAA pitch, or you will have every auld lad in the club to deal with.

The guys over at Fupin Eejits have created this comedy sketch which shows the reactions of all the GAA purists in the club when they see young fellas kicking a soccer ball around.

The video is titled “Never attempt foreign games on a GAA field” and we can just imagine them all roaring “never mind those foreign games, will you pick up a feckin’ hurley!”
