Two of the biggest names in Irish MMA supporting one of their own on his big night. Great to see.
In case you haven’t seen it yet we won’t spoil the result but Chris Fields, who along with Cathal Pendred is competing in the latest version of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF 19), went up against Josh Stansbury in his first fight in the competition, which was aired on American TV last night.
While the format of The Ultimate Fighter means it’s pretty much every man for himself, Fields had support from Pendred and also from UFC star Conor McGregor, who were both very vocal and very animated outside the Octagon.
