Video: England fan gets part of ear bitten off during World Cup game [Graphic Content]

Robert Farquharson was attacked by a fellow England fan during the Uruguay game in an alleged racist attack and lost a large chunk of his ear in the assault.

Today's Sunday People has a simply shocking story of violence in the crowd at the World Cup. It concerns an England fan called Robert Farquharson who was in the stands to watch his country play Uruguay in Sao Paulo last week when he was attacked in the crowd by a fellow England supporter. During the altercation, the attacker bit a large chunk out of Farquharson's ear, a truly shocking thing to do and the injury is very clearly, and graphically, visible in the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wym_gCnNhPs The allegation is that the attack was racially motivated as the man who took the video, Billy Grant, claims that Farquharson told him: "He told me the guy called him a ‘black ****’ and said something like, ‘you shouldn’t be supporting England'."
