We have lots and lots of time for the former Celtic manager….

His brief managerial career has been impressive so far, winning three Scottish leagues and two cups along with some famous nights in the Champions League at Celtic and Sky Sports caught up with him for a brief chat about his time in the dugout.

Lennon has made an impressive start to life at the Macron Stadium and it’s clear that the current Republic of Ireland manager has been an important factor in his career so far.

The sheer levels of respect and admiration that he has for his former boss Martin O’Neill shines through in this interview while his views on the build-up and post-match environment of the Old Firm meetings is very interesting.

The dark days, like when he was assaulted by a fan at Tynecastle, are covered but there’s no prizes for guessing what his favourite moment as a manager is.

Take a look below; the real juicy stuff starts around the 1:20 mark.

If you needed further proof of what a decent bloke Lennon is, then take a look at this lovely gesture to a nine-year old Bolton fan or when he visited a sick Dublin child in hospital.
