The lads from Rugby HQ on Fox Sports are back with yet another brilliant list this week, this time counting down the top five two-try heroes of all time.

As we had last week when they counted down the top five individual tries of all-time, we do have a little gripe with Sean Maloney and his rugby HQ mates that there is no Irish entry this week but we’ll forgive their exclusion of, for example, Brian O’Driscoll’s hat-trick against France in 2000 on the basis that he exceeded the criteria for selection here with one try too many.

In any case, there’s still plenty of good stuff in here, from a brilliant two-try salvo by Fiji’s Rupeni Caucaunibuca (try saying that five times without taking a breath) against Scotland in the 2003 World Cup to a Shane Williams double against Argentina to Dan Carter’s virtuoso display against the Lions in 2005.

Selecting Joe Roff’s double against the Lions in 2001 has more than a whiff of national bias about it but it’s probably appropriate given the week that’s in it and in fairness, Roff is worthy of the prize simply for his brilliant reaction to winning it, which you can see for yourself at the end of the clip.

Great stuff as usual from Sean and the Fox Rugby gang.
