Well that was a dramatic day of sport wasn’t it? If you weren’t content with seeing Leicester stage an incredible comeback against Man Utd or Kerry claiming their 37th All-Ireland crown then there was drama aplenty at the Etihad Stadium.
Chelsea’s all-time record goalscorer Frank Lampard scored a dramatic equaliser for Man City this afternoon that could prove to be vital for the champions as the season develops.
The midfielder, who is on loan from New York City until January, could have arguably made his biggest contribution to Manuel Pelligrini’s side as his dramatic goal cancelled out Andre Schurrle’s opener.
211 goals in 648 appearances for Chelsea and here he is talking about scoring against them.
