Sure Gary, we imagine you were never difficult to referee.
The always excellent Monday Night Football took an interesting turn this evening when MNF regulars Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher quizzed special guest Howard Webb about Premier League refereeing and the reasoning behind some high-profile decisions that have been made of late.
Webb appeared to do a good job of dodging some of the bigger questions posed by Neville and Carragher but overall it made for an interesting discussion and gave a decent insight into a referee’s thought process when making big decisions.
In an amusing aside, meanwhile, Neville couldn’t help but ask Howard for his view on a controversial red card he received against Manchester City in 2004.
Not sure what Gary was up to here, mind…
