Heralded as one of the best football pundits working on television today, former Manchester United player Gary Neville gives his tuppence worth on the sacking of David Moyes.

What does Gary Neville make of the departure of David Moyes? Well, he wasn’t happy with how it was handled and reckons United will have to have an internal review on how they acted over the last 24 hours. As a traditionalist he feels managers should get more time, but recognises the performances and results have been very poor.

He goes on to say he hasn’t enjoyed watching Manchester United this season and that modern day football is a results business. His strongest words come when he accuses United of a lack of decency in how they handled the termination of Moyes’ contract.

Strong words from a United cult hero, but he has never been one to pull punches in the past.
