Italy took on Belgium in the other clash in Ireland's group last night and it was the Italians who got the better of a much fancied Belgium side by two goals to nil. Italy were full value for their win against, what has to be said, a poor enough Belgian side... well, they played badly at least. Veteran shot stopper Gianluigi Buffon won his 796th cap last night for Italy last night as he continued his quest to be the world's oldest player. Ok, he's actually only 38 and that was his 158th appearance for the Azzuri, but he just seems like he's been around forever. He still has a spring in his step though as this footage at the end of the game shows when he attempted to swing on the crossbar.
