Barely 30 seconds had elapsed when Jack Wilshere latched onto a ball on the right hand edge of the area after a flowing move by the home side and he proceeded to cut inside and curl the ball into the far top corner with effortless ease to put the Gunners in the driving seat and on the way to a victory that will all but assure their passage to the Champions League last 16.
