Norwegian ski jumper and Olympic bronze medallist, Anders Jacobsen, is here to show you what it’s like to fly off a massive ski jump. It looks pretty terrifying…

Flying without the aid of propulsion device is next to impossible, as poor awl’ Icarus found out, but the Norwegian ski jumper Anders Jacobsen gets as close to flying as is humanly possible in this brilliant GoPro video.

Jacobsen recorded the clip using GoPro’s HERO3+ while training in Lillehammer, Norway. It really is a great way to watch ski jumping as you get to see all the tiny corrections Anders has to make to ensure a stable flight.

In case you’re wondering, the mount attached to the GoPro was edited out in post-production, which is why it looks like there’s nothing attached to Anders head from the 0:34 mark onwards…
