Brendan Rodgers has just completed another tidy bit of business by nabbing Valencia left-back Aly Cissokho on a season-long loan from Valencia.
The 25-year old French man will provide some serious competition for Jose Enrique and he was a regular in a very good Lyon team for three seasons from 2009 to 2012 before moving to La Liga.
He didn’t play much for Valencia last term so this is a good move for the player, and one that may become a permanent deal if all goes well at Anfield this season.
Cissokho is a very handy looking player to have in your squad and as evidenced by this clip, he has great pace and an interest in attacking.
