Video: He’s no Zebo, but Matt Stevens does a pretty good job of Wonderwall

Simon Zebo and his version of No Diggity was always going to be a hard act to follow, but Matt Stevens’ version of Wonderwall in the same Brisbane bar isn’t a bad effort at all.

Simon Zebo and his version of No Diggity was always going to be a hard act to follow, but Matt Stevens’ version of Wonderwall in the same Brisbane bar isn’t a bad effort at all.

Munster, Ireland and now Lions winger Zebo showcased his musical/rapping talents for the second time in a week when performing ‘No Diggity’ in a Brisbane bar earlier this week and if you haven’t yet seen it, you really should give it a look over yonder.

Zebo is far from the only man able to belt out a tune in the Lions squad, however, as English prop Matt Stevens showed when he picked up a guitar and belted out a version of a song that… 99 per cent of budding musicians play when they pick up a guitar.

In fairness to Stevens he’s well able to play and sing and judging by his ability to get the crowd going, he’s something of a showman as well and the Irish Lions you can see in the bar – we spotted Zebo, Rob Kearney and Rory Best amongst the party – seemed to be enjoying it as well.

A Zebo/Stevens duet before the tour is finished? There are a few weeks left so we certainly wouldn’t rule it out.
