The ladies of the United States’ and Canada’s ice hockey teams were in a fightin’ mood when they faced off on the ice this weekend

We all know that one of the parts of the great sport of ice hockey is the hard fightin’ that goes on between the two teams, normally through their enforcers.

However, when the women’s teams of the USA and Canada took to the ice on Friday night, it wasn’t just the heavy hitters involved, as it didn’t take them too long to show their rivalry with an all-out brawl with almost everyone out there, even the goalkeepers, after Jocelyne Lamoureux of the United States and Canada’s Mélodie Daoust got into a scuffle which escalated quickly.

The States were able to ease past their rivals from the North 4-1, just two months before the real competition kicks off at the Olympics in 2014, and the gals from Canada will certainly be hoping that they can turn their form around under new manager Kevin Dineen before the games in Sochi.
