He might be on the bench, but Roberto Luongo was still showing that there’s nothing wrong with his reactions
Roberto Luongo watched on from the bench as his Vancouver team lost 1-2 to the Chicago Blackhawks last night, but he still had a chance to get involved in the play, to save the commentator on the side from getting hit with a puck.
As the puck was miscontrolled and bounced over the sides into the bench, Luongo reacted quickly to get his glove to it and save it pretty impressively. He can hang on to that one as a souvenir of the game, but he might not want to remember too much about the loss he watched from the bench we suspect.
