There were 30 goals scored in the Champions League last night and plenty of them were pretty good too, including this cracker by Yaya Toure against Viktoria Plzen.
Manchester City haven’t had the best of times (in fact, they’ve had the blurst worst of times) in the Champions League in the last couple of seasons but they got off to a perfect start this time around with a comfortable away victory against Viktoria Plzen last night.
Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero also got on the scoresheet in a 3-0 win but the best of the lot was this long-range strike from Yaya Toure which put the visitors 2-0 up.
Toure couldn’t have struck the ball any sweeter and it’s something he’s been doing frequently already this season after brilliant free-kicks against Newcastle and Hull City in the last few weeks.
No stopping that.
