Can we just stay a little while longer?
Yesterday’s result didn’t quite go our way after a promising start, but the Boys in Green should still be proud of their performance.
It’s clear from the mountains of videos and pictures that were sent to us yesterday that the Irish fans were appreciative of the effort the team had put in.
But all good things must come to an end and it’s back to reality for the many Irish fans who made the trip down to France.
But sometimes, it can be difficult to accept reality…
The fans also produced a stirring rendition of the French national anthem later on as they gradually came to terms that they’d be leaving France behind them.
All things must come to an end, and there’s no doubting that they’d fun while it lasted.
