We're not sure if this is good or bad...

We’re not sure if this is good or bad…

When you talk about remembering someone’s name you can probably divide people into three categories – the person who can remember a face but not a name (scatty people), the person who remembers the face and the name (nice people) and the person who never remembers anyone (bad people).

However, if you work with people on a full-time basis for a substantial length of time, there’s no excuse, you really should know everyone by their name. If you don’t, they know because calling them “man” every time you meet someone is a bit of a red flag.

Leinster star Jamie Heaslip’s memory was put to the test recently when he was challenged to name as many of his provincial teammates as he possibly could in just 30 seconds. Here’s how he got on…

We hate to do this but we need a recount because, unless there’s a youngster named Jamie Heaslip coming up through the ranks, it looks like the Irish international named HIMSELF as a teammate 12 seconds into the video.

In fairness, it’s a decent effort from Jamie compared to the stranger-fest that’s going on at Treviso.
