The All-Blacks take on Australia in the Bledisloe Cup tomorrow and there’s no better way to set the mood than this inspirational clip of Jonah Lomu’s memories of past meetings between the sides.

The Southern Hemisphere rivals will meet in Sydney tomorrow in the opening round of the terribly titled Rugby Championship (it’s still no better one year on), with the winners taking home the Bledisloe Cup as well as some vital tournament points.

Matches between the All-Blacks and the Wallabies rarely need any extra promotion but to help set the tone ahead of tomorrow’s game, Sky Sport New Zealand released the footage above of Jonah Lomu recounting his experiences of the competition, including a 39-35 victory for the All-Blacks in Sydney in 2000, a game often referred to as the best rugby match of all time.

The footage also includes a few nice shots of the legendary winger from his school days, deals with his battle with nephrotic syndrome and best of all, features a clip of Lomu himself in Jonah Lomu Rugby, arguably the best sporting video game on any console. Ever.

Hair-raising stuff.
