Limerick started with intent but ended in defeat
There was no denying who the better side were at the Gaelic Grounds yesterday as Tipperary romped to a place in the Munster hurling final with a commanding 4-23 to 1-16 win against Limerick.
The Premier County will now battle Waterford in the provincial decider on July 12 as Limerick struggled to get a grip with Tipp.
Seamus Callanan was superb yesterday as the Drom & Inch man scored 2-5 but he was also on the receiving end of a fairly hefty challenge from Limerick ‘keeper Barry Hennessy.
The Kilmallock man wasn’t messing around with this one. It almost looks like something that you would see in the NFL but Callanan definitely had the final say.
