It’s incredibly difficult for any manager to implement their ideas, tactics and dare I say it ‘philosophy’ on a new team but Jürgen Klopp’s task was made even harder by the recent international break.
The new Liverpool manager only had three days to work with his players but the ‘Pool picked up a very decent point against Spurs over the weekend and a lot has been made about the amount of running and pressing that their players did at White Hart Lane.
Football fans aren’t stupid because any new manager needs at least 6 months before their ideas begin to take shape, or an absolute bucketload of cash to splash on some players, but Anfield hero Jamie Carragher noticed a few instant and notable changes to Liverpool’s tactical approach.
