To be honest, Diego Simeone is so scary that he could probably coach their U-17’s to title success.
Real Madrid had a strong season as they finally got their hands on a 10th Champions League title while Barcelona’s domestic and European form faltered under Tata Martino.
Throw Sevilla’s Europa League winning campaign into the mix and it’s clear that La Liga re-established itself as the ‘go-to’ league for most of the best footballing talent available.
We won’t mention Spain’s dire performance in the World Cup though.
