It begs the question; why did he do it?

Waikato prop Ben Tameifuna, who recently featured in the Super Rugby hits of the season, is facing a spell on the sidelines for allegedly pushing referee Glen Jackson to the ground during a game against North Harbour at the weekend.

It is uncertain if the 134kg goliath intended to knock Jackson over although the push did seem unnecessary because the ball had not even emerged from the previous ruck when the incident occurred.

Jackson did get his own back a few moments later when he sin-binned Tameifuna for a different offence, although JOE has a strong feeling that Jackson wanted to exact a bit of poetic justice on the Waikato man.

Tameifuna has been cited under law 10.4 (m) which deems that a player must not do anything that is against the spirit of good sportsmanship in the playing enclosure.

Did the big man deserve to be cited? Also have a look at some of his other highlight reel moments below.
