Video: One member of the Australian Rules Indigenous squad is completely baffled by hurling

We know it's a great sport, but the lads from Down Under don’t know what to make of it.

We know it’s a great sport, but the lads from Down Under don’t know what to make of it.

Tomorrow night in Cavan we will get our first proper look at the AFL Indigenous squad that has been sent over for this year’s International Rules series.

All fully fledged AFL stars, they are a talented, and hard, bunch but when it comes to hurling, well, they aren’t so brave.

At a run out at Croker this week some of the squad got to try and puck a ball around, but it wasn’t much of a success as you will see. However, the best bit of this video is definitely the interview with Tony Armstrong of the Sydney Swans who is frankly horrified that the sport exists, referring to the players as ‘lunatics’.

Trust us Tony, it’s the best sport in the world.
