There’s no doubting that the force of this blow from Derrick Mehmen would fell most mere mortals, but Rolles Gracie’s reaction to it is one of the strangest you’ll ever see in an Octagon.
Mehmen and Gracie went head to head at the World Series of Fighting (WSOF) 5 event in Atlantic City last night and Mehmen took the victory after a quite sensational knockout in the second round.
Somehow Gracie managed to stay in his feet after getting hit with a heavy blow to his chin, but only for a few seconds as he stumbled around like a man who’s had way too much to drink before hitting the canvass.
A bit like a man who’s had too much to drink of a Saturday night, Gracie’s head will have had better days than it did this morning after that.
Ouch.
