We’d expect Paul O’Connell to prefer steak to tofu and beef to salmon but Family Guy instead of The Simpsons? C’mon Paulie.
The Irish captain was the latest to feature in the #behindthegreen series of rapid-fire interviews for Irish Rugby TV on YouTube and while in the process of signing a few jerseys, he replied with impressive speed to two-choice questions on a range of topics, including food, TV and film and, despite hardly having Marouane Fellaini style growth up top, his choice of hair products.
As a result, we know that Paul likes, steak, beef, gel instead of wax, Corrie instead of Eastenders and The Wire instead of The Bill but although we like Family Guy and all and it’s clearly a matter of opinion, we’re a bit taken aback by his preference for Peter Griffin and friends over The Simpsons.
