The 23 year-old joined an illustrious group when he was bestowed with the honour of taking over from the retired Doug Howlett as captain of his province.
The Cork man spoke to JOE about how the opportunity came about and the international captaincy experience he garnered during the summer on Ireland’s tour of North America.
