Piers Morgan once again found himself in the firing line but this time he was facing fast balls instead of fast and angry tweets…
Earlier in the month, Piers had a little moan on Twitter about how England’s cricket team are “pathetic”. One of his many angry cricket related tweets read: “Alastair Cook should be fired for that shot. Just dumped as captain right now. Utter, reckless stupidity. Pathetic.”
So when the former Aussie fast bowler Brett Lee challenged Piers to a full over (six balls), the loud mouthed talk show host was only too happy to oblige.
Sadly for Piers – but luckily for everyone else – his smack talking got the better of him…
