Video: Ridiculous piece of individual skill leads to fantastic goal in under-21 club game in Waterford

Remember THAT Simon Zebo flick against Wales? This is kind of like that, only in hurling form.

Remember THAT Simon Zebo flick against Wales? This is kind of like that, only in hurling form.

The GAA should really be winding down at this time of year, but the club scene is still going strong in many counties, including Waterford, where an amazing solo goal was scored in an under-21 Championship game last weekend.

It was scored by Dónal Breathnach of An Ghaeltacht, who got the better of Cois Bride in the West Waterford under-21 B semi-final and fittingly so too because this was a goal good enough to win any game.

Coming onto the ball at speed around the 65 metre line, Breathnach nonchalantly flicked the ball into his path with his boot without breaking speed before charging through the opposition defence and producing an accomplished finish when it mattered.

Magnificent, absolutely magnificent.
