Trailing an in-form Ronnie O’Sullivan by five frames in the World Championship semi-final at the Crucible, Judd Trump probably had enough on his mind as he lined up a fairly routine black until his concentration was interrupted in classic fashion when some punter in the audience let rip just as he was about to take his shot.

In fairness to Trump, he laughed it off and cracked on with the game and even Ronnie had a chuckle to himself, while the guilty party in question was spared the embarrassment of being identified in front of a significant audience on live television.
No doubt accusations such as ‘whoever smelt it dealt it’ and ‘whoever denied it supplied it’ are flying round the Crucible audience as we speak.
